Village of Endicott Residents May Qualify for Energy Efficiency Rebates
The Village of Endicott encourages eligible municipal electric customers to explore several rebate opportunities through the Independent Energy Efficiency Program (IEEP). These programs help residents and local businesses reduce the cost of energy-efficient improvements while supporting long-term energy savings.
Whether you're replacing an aging refrigerator, improving your home's insulation, upgrading your heating system, or purchasing battery-powered lawn equipment, there may be financial incentives available to help offset the cost.

Home Insulation Rebates — Up to $5,000
Proper insulation and air sealing can help keep homes warmer during Endicott's cold winters and more comfortable during the summer.
Through the IEEP Insulation Program, eligible residential electric customers may receive a rebate covering 75% of qualifying project costs, up to a maximum of $5,000.
Eligible improvements include attic insulation, exterior wall insulation, basement and crawl space insulation, rim joist insulation, air sealing, weatherstripping, duct insulation, and ventilation.

Equipment must be purchased new, and corded electric equipment does not qualify. The program is scheduled to continue through December 31, 2027, or until funding is exhausted.
Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebates
Local businesses can also benefit from incentives designed to help reduce energy use and operating expenses.
The IEEP Commercial Energy Efficiency Program offers rebates for qualifying energy-efficient lighting upgrades and variable speed drives for motors.
Examples of eligible improvements include LED interior lighting fixtures, LED retrofit kits, warehouse lighting, exterior security lighting, parking lot lighting, and variable speed drives.
Depending on the equipment, lighting incentives range from $5 to $60 per qualifying fixture or tube. Variable speed drive rebates are calculated based on motor horsepower.
Commercial projects with potential rebates exceeding $2,500 require pre-approval. Equipment must meet the program's technical requirements.
